WELCOME TO BURRAWANG DORPER & WHITE DORPERS
Burrawang is a working sheep station in Central West NSW; we are in the business of lamb meat production through grazing. Our objective is to turn off a prime lamb at 45 to 50 kgs within 6 months in average grazing conditions.

Our stud animals are available for purchase at our regular sales. We only offer animals for sale that we are prepared to use over our own commercial flock and our rigorous culling ensures we will not sell inferior animals.

Our animals our structurally sound and meet the breed standard which assures walk-ability, productivity, fertility, adaptability and the longevity of retained ewe offspring. This provides our buyers with the long-term benefits to be derived by using quality rams.

Featuring approx. 110 Rams Dorper and White Dorper, and approx. 30 Stud Ewes.

“We breed Full Blood White Dorpers bringing you the qualities of over 60 years of breeding”

ABOUT US
Graham and Jana Pickles purchased Burrawang West Station in June 2000 while living, working and raising children in Sydney. Although Graham has always had a passion for the bush, his training as an accountant led him in another direction. Following 25 years of very busy corporate life during which he built his own business and ran one of the largest trading conglomerates in South East Asia, Graham changed careers in 2005 to become a full time farmer. With an extensive career as a Commercial Banker in the entrepreneurial and agricultural Midwest of the US, Jana was well prepared for going bush after the boys finished high school.
